One of the most important tourist attractions is the Piekna Mountain with its ski runs, ski lifts, a few-hundred-meter-long chair lift and the Jaćwings' castle.
It is worth going for a walk along the Goldapa river or having a swim in Lake Goldap.
The railway brides in Stanczyki always arise a lot of interest among tourists. They are 36 meters high. Another tourist attraction is the tomb of the Prussian family, the Fahrenheits, built at the beginning of the XVI century. It is located in Rapa near Banie Mazurskie. The tomb is in the shape of a pyramid.
We recommend taking educational paths in the Romincka Forest National Park, visiting a unique fallow deer farm and "Safari" on a forest farm near the town of Goldap.
The lakes attract fishers, sailors and hikers. During the summer time the beauty of the land can be explored by following the well signed cycle paths and canoes routes. During the winter time you can enjoy skiing and in the complex of the Piękna Mountain you can try downhill skiing and tobogganing (a chair ski lift and four ski tows). The ski runs are artificially snow covered.
